Sue Brotherton, Ph.D
 |
Dr. Brotherton is a Professor of
Educational Psychology and Counseling at California State University,
San Bernardino. She coordinated the program for five years and teaches
Multicultural Counseling, Introduction to Counseling, Ethics and
Law, Consultation, Advanced Child and Adolescence and Development,
Field Experience Supervision, and Clinical Practicum.
At CSUSB, Sue served six years as the Co-Chair of the University
Diversity Committee, served on the president's Strategic Plan Diversity
Action Committee, and Chaired an annual diversity conference for
four years.

Sue is a well-known diversity/motivational speaker, trainer and consultant. She is a regular trainer for the National Multicultural Institute in Washington, DC, trains new social workers in a 5-county region, and provides workshops and keynote addresses for public schools, universities, private business and non-profit groups. She has authored numerous articles and a book entitled, Counselor Education for the Twenty-first Century.
In addition, Sue is a foster parent caring for infants. She participates in TDM's as a community member. Sue has assisted San Bernardino County in designing Family to Family training curriculum regarding mentoring between foster parents and birth parents.
