Ms. Brown received her MSW from the State University of New York at Albany. She was a CPS Regional Manager for the Riverside Department of Public Social Services before coming on board with the Public Child Welfare Training Academy, as a Site Director at the Riverside site.

With over 15 years experience in the field of child welfare, Ms. Brown has held a variety of positions in Child Protective Services. She has been a line worker, Supervisor, Staff Development Trainer, and a Regional Manager managing the Permanency Programs for Riverside's CPS.
