Karan Kolb is the daughter of George Kolb from the Rincon Indian Reservation and Cynthia Robles Kolb from the Quechan Tribe. She is an enrolled member of the Rincon Band of Luiseno Indians. Karan works for Indian Health Council, Inc. currently managing the Tribal Family Services which provides court advocacy on Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) cases for seven Tribes in San Diego County. She has experience collaborating with Tribal, County and State governments for 12 years in the area of ICWA and has provided trainings/workshops and State conferences. She is a trainer for Tribal STAR helping Tribes and Counties collaborate for positive outcomes for foster youth. She earned her BS/BM degree from University of Phoenix.
