Kahalifa King holds a BA in Business
with an emphasis in Marketing and a MS in Counseling.
He began his professional career in Conflict Resolution and Alternative
Dispute Resolution in 1993 and earned his credential in mediation
in 1996 and his certification as an arbitrator in the same year.
He has provided direct Mediation services and/or training to S.
D. Superior Court, various school districts, (locally and internationally),
colleges and universities and organizations both public and private.
Currently, Kahalifa is in private practice providing mediation
services to the U.S. Postal Service and various small businesses,
and arbitration services for the BBB. He also provides family, couples,
individual and group counseling services as a registered MFT-Intern,
with an emphasis on African/African American males.
As a trainer for SDSU/PCWTA, he conducts trainings in Cultural
Competence, Crisis Intervention, and The Cycle of Poverty.
