    Genevieve Bromley, MSW

Ms. Bromley attended the University of California at Davis and received her Bachelor's of Science in Applied Behavioral Sciences and a minor degree in Women's Studies in 1985. She attended San Diego State University and earned her MSW in 1988. She is currently the Child Welfare Services Special Services Section Manager for the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency. This Section includes 6 programs:

  • Independent Living Skills
  • Independence Readiness Conferences
  • Foster Youth Mentor Program
  • HOME Emancipated Foster Youth Housing Program
  • Minor Parent Program
  • Volvo Keys to Success

Ms. Bromley has been in the social work field for 26 years and has experience as a social worker, supervisor, trainer and manager. She has worked in the Emergency Response Program, Court Intervention, Court Unit, Adoptions, The Family Violence Unit, CWS/CMS Training & Policy and Program Support. In addition to these assignments, Ms. Bromley also provides leadership on behalf of the County at the State level CWDA/ ILP Children's Subcommittee Meeting.

Ms. Bromley works extensively with community partners to better serve the children who have touched the Child Welfare Services and Probation systems. Her education, experience and knowledge combine to form a solid foundation for institutional support, guidance and training.
