Amy Stephen, LCSW
Ms. Stephen received her BA in Psychology from San Diego State University in 1995, and her MSW from SDSU in 1998. In December of 2002, Ms. Stephen became licensed as a Clinical Social Worker.
For approximately two years, beginning in 1999, Ms. Stephen worked part-time in the field of Domestic Violence, facilitating groups for a 52-week program for perpetrators at UPAC. She has also worked in the intake department of Charter Hospital, assessing clients for both mental health and substance abuse issues. |
Ms. Stephen is currently a therapist at Psycare San Diego and is also employed full time at San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency as a Protective Services Social Worker. In 1999, she began her employment with San Diego County HHSA in Continuing Services, and currently works in the Family Unity Program, where she coordinates and facilitates Family Unity meetings. In addition to her work in Family Unity, she periodically conducts trainings within HHSA, as well as introductory training for new volunteers at Voices for Children. |
