Patti Rahiser's professional experience in Health and Human Services spans 34 years. During this time she worked for San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency, beginning with casework and completing the last six years as Assistant Deputy Director for Child Welfare Services. Her administrative duties also encompassed oversight of public health, income maintenance, in-home support services and welfare-to-work programs. She was Acting Director, Child Welfare Services in 2002/3. Aside from prioritizing her husband and teenage son, her pastime is making very rich desserts.
