Kia Poe, MS
BHETA Curriculum and Training Specialist

Kia Poe is a licensed nurse and has a Master of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Over the past ten years Kia’s career has been focused on directing, managing, designing and delivering training programs and organizational development initiatives predominantly for healthcare, government, and non-profit organizations.

In her current position, Kia is the Curriculum and Training Specialist for the Behavioral Health Education and Training Academy (BHETA) and provides training for the County of San Diego’s behavioral health system.

In her spare time Kia enjoys spending time with family and reading.
