Karissa Erbes,
MSW
|
Karissa Erbes
received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Sonoma State University. In 2006, Karissa received her Masters of Social Work degree from San Diego State University with an Administrative Concentration. Karissa has a professional background providing services to older adults, children, and mothers with substance abuse issues. She also worked for the Office of Community-Based Learning and AmeriCorps at Sonoma State University performing community organizing and outreach efforts along with supporting and coordinating Sonoma County K-16 service-learning programs.
In her current position with the Academy, Karissa is the Research & Development Specialist. She assists with program and training evaluation as well as program coordination and research activities for: Maria Sardiņas Behavioral Health Institute, Parents and Children Together (PACT), Southern Area Consortium of Human Services (SACHS), along with Academy organizational and resource development activities.
