Jillian Barber received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Women’s Studies from Bowdoin College in 2001, and will be entering the dual MSW/MPH program at San Diego State University this Fall 2007. Jillian has a wealth of experience in a variety of human service organizations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She provided primary oversight to a national college screening and education program for mental health, eating disorders, alcohol use and suicide prevention, and also supervised the national alcohol screening and education program for colleges, community organizations, primary care providers and military installations. She has had significant experience coordinating training activities, including material design and development, publicity and database management. A recent arrival to San Diego, in her free time Jillian enjoys distance running, yoga, and exploring her new home.
